It was the leanest crop in the recent years: only nine UP Diliman constituents received the Gawad Chanselor, the university’s highest recognition for excellence in performance, at ceremonies held February 24 at the NISMED Auditorium. (March 7)—For the retirees, it wasn’t so much a recounting of the past as it was a peek at the future during the annual Parangal sa mga Retirado at Gawad Paglilingkod held last February 23 at the NISMED auditorium. The ceremony honors the achievements and lives of UPD employees who retired in the period from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011.
